Terms of service

These terms apply when you download, buy, or use Cursorwing (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. What Cursorwing does

Cursorwing is a macOS app that guides you through other apps and websites. You type a question, and a yellow cursor points to where to click next, one step at a time. The steps are suggested automatically and can be wrong or out of date, so check anything important yourself, especially before deleting, buying, or changing settings. Cursorwing only points; it never clicks or types for you.

2. Your account and subscription

You sign in with a Google account. New accounts include 3 free conversations. One conversation is one question, with every step of its walkthrough included.

Paid plans (Pro, Max, and Ultra) renew every month until you cancel. Pro and Max include a set number of conversations per billing period; unused conversations don't carry over. Ultra is unlimited for normal personal use, subject to a fair-use limit that prevents automated or abusive use. Prices and plan limits are shown on our website and may change, but changes won't affect a period you've already paid for.

You can cancel anytime. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are covered by our Refund policy.

3. Acceptable use

You're responsible for how you use the App. In particular, you agree to:

• Only ask about screens and content you have the right to use.
• Not reverse engineer, resell, or share your account, or try to get around usage limits.
• Not use the App for anything illegal or harmful.

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

4. Ownership

The App, its design, and its code belong to us. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use the App. Your screenshots and questions stay yours.

5. No warranty

The App is provided “as is.” We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee that every step will be correct or that the App will always work without interruption.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost data or changes made by following a suggested step. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know through the App or our website. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the new terms.
